new blog
typepad is being wacky and will not let me upload pics right now so I am trying out a new blog format....
Our new land...
Well it's almost ours...the contracts have been signed and we're working toward closing. We hope to build in a few years but the plans are to put a studio on the land first so that I can start shooting there as soon as possible. My sweet Caden will be 7 next month. It's amazing to think that he was our first.
Three weeks old today....
Where did the time go? It seems like yesterday that he arrived. We're all trying to get in a routine especially now that Adi and Caden are out of school. They are naturals with Logan and I am very proud of them.

This little man is such a joy....our lives are completely different (much slower) but we can't imagine it without him.

Just a little update: We are all doing great and feeling great too! We actually got out of the house today and went to dinner...Logan is eating and sleeping like a champ. We all fight over who gets to hold him in the rare moment he has his eyes open. What a cutie pie!!!
And a BIG thank you to all the gifts, dinners and well wishes from all of our friends and clients. it means so much to us all that you have been thinking about us!

My heart and soul...
I fell in love with him the moment he entered this world. I wondered how he would fit into our family but now that he is here I wonder how we survived with out him. We came home last night (48 hours after C section) and had our first night to ourselves before the kids came home this afternoon. The kids are so excited they literally can not stand it. Adi wants to hold him forever she says and Caden cant stand when he cries and gets a little emotional with him...tso sweet! Short and sweet for now but wanted to share his first official "photoshoot"....isnt he just the cutest thing you have ever seen? he looks EXACTLY like Caden as a baby but with Adi's little button nose.

Meet Matthew Logan Headington

Logan joined the Headington family a little ahead of schedule. This little man was scheduled to arrive on Thursday which is his daddy's birthday but he was determined to have his own. I don't have all of his specifics so you will have to hang on for his mommy's official first post of him. Forgive the presentation but I am not the artist around here so you guys will have to check back in for that.
He is the most perfect combination of his brother and sister....I know you will all agree!
Amy wants everyone to know how much their family appreciates all of your well wishes and prayers. They are truly thankful for each of you. They are scheduled to come home late tonight so give her a day or so and I'm sure she'll get your first "official" glimpses of the new addition along with his big brother Caden and big sis Adi. Until then....
